For Lena, remembrance has always been deeply connected to her creative life.
As artists and writers have often adopted names that express a particular creative identity, Lena chose the name Theta to reflect the contemplative, intuitive and receptive qualities of her spiritual practice. For her, Theta represents a state of deep listening — a space of stillness, awareness and compassionate presence.
Her bronze sculpture embodies these same qualities.
As a sculptor, Lena gives physical form to the memories of people and stories we choose to preserve.. her bronzes capture fleeting moments and human connection, so they can endure through generations.
Through mediumship, she explores another dimension of healing and remembrance, bringing comfort to the heart and spirit
This name It is not a separate identity from "Lena Toritch", but another expression of the same creative and spiritual journey.
The Journey Begins
Lena’s spiritual awakening began as a dedicated, long-time student of ancient Taoist and Tibetan meditation and breath techniques. In 2006 she traveled to China to receive an intensive, 1 month long training with Master Xiao Tie Seng, one of the few remaining practitioners of the old original style T'ai Chi Quan. Through the years of these sacred practices, she unlocked a profound alignment of body, mind, and spirit. Over time, she naturally began sensing the subtle energies of people around her, which eventually opened her awareness to spirits beyond the veil.

The Arthur Findlay College
To refine her natural gifts, Lena traveled to England to study at the world famous Arthur Findlay College for the Advancement of Psychic Science. Lena attended advanced level mediumship classes from such prominent AFC tutors as Eileen Davies, Penny Hayward, and Suzanne Gibson-Foy.
Lena is continuously elevating her craft. In 2025 she attended a week long intensive training with renown spiritual teacher Eamonn Downey.
Staying busy with studying online and in person classes, Lena is currently completing an advanced mediumship certification course.
